Frames of Life 6
In a long-lasting relationship with coffee and other (visual) stories.
Hi there!
It feels great to share one more frame of life about something I love deeply…
C O F F E E!☕
I have a long history with it, starting back in high school when my mom used to share her coffee with me. If you can imagine, I had to add sugar to it due to its intense flavor! Not the best start, I realize that now. But then our ‘‘relationship’’ became more serious in university when I bought my own Starbucks thermos. It was really a thing back then. ;) Fast forward to today, I enjoy drinking black coffee, freshly grinded and made with love by my husband or in specialized coffee houses.

I hope you’ll enjoy my selection of photographs centered around coffee along with a few quotes I’ve curated that I found interesting, funny and brew-tiful.
Needles to say :
"Today's good mood is sponsored by coffee." — Anonymous
Of course, I am writing this on my pc while I drink coffee. ;)

A little confession to make: I use photography as a memory enhancement tool. When I look at these photographs, I can remember where I was, who I was with, and the mood I had in that day. Nancy Kress once said, “Without coffee, nothing gets written. Period.” Well, in my case, without coffee, mornings don’t even get photographed.

“People say money can’t buy happiness. They lie. Money buys coffee, coffee makes me happy!” — Unknown
"I was taken by the power that savoring a simple cup of coffee can connect people and create community." — Howard Schultz

“Some coffee, plus some thinking, equals some great ideas.” — Unknown
‘‘Coffeeology: Espresso yourself. So many blends, so little time. Take life one sip at a time, and stay grounded. Better latte than never. Take time to smell the cover.”
While it’s true that there are more important things in life than coffee — like health, meaningful relationships, education, etc —working on them with a cup of coffee in hand is far more enjoyable. And just like that, I declare myself a coffee enthusiast.
I'm curious—what's your relationship with coffee like? How did it all begin?
From one caffeine enthusiast to another...
Until next time.

Photography as a memory enhancement tool - I love that; and I love your photographs, the wondrous way in which you celebrate not only the taste but also the beauty of coffee & of the coffee time. ☕️
For me, making my coffee every morning in a bialetti moka pot, savoring it with steamed milk, is my favorite part of the day. 🤍
Thank YOU for your kind words, Anca. I love your morning ritual; a bialettj moka pot is also on my bucket list, such a classic. Enjoy the small and full of meaning morning moments 🤗
